We are seeking a highly skilled Guidewire Configurator to join our insurance technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for configuring and customizing the Guidewire InsuranceSuite (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter) to meet business and technical requirements. You will work closely with business analysts, developers, testers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless implementation and support of Guidewire solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Configure business rules, user interface (UI), and data model components within Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter.
• Collaborate with business analysts to understand functional requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Implement changes using Guidewire's Gosu programming language where scripting is needed.
• Participate in design sessions and provide input on configuration best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Guidewire configuration and integration.
• Perform unit testing and support system/integration testing phases.
• Ensure configurations follow company standards, performance best practices, and security protocols.
• Maintain documentation for all configuration changes and enhancements.
• Collaborate with QA and development teams to deliver high-quality Guidewire solutions
• Stay updated on Guidewire version upgrades and new feature capabilities.
• Learn SQL/PLSQL and understand entity relationships within the Guidewire schema, including related diagrams, with the goal of transitioning into a Guidewire Data Analyst role within 45 days.
• Begin performing responsibilities of a Guidewire Data Analyst within 2 to 3 months.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience with Guidewire configuration (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter).
• Proficient in Guidewire Studio and configuration of data model, UI, and business rules.
• Experience with Gosu scripting language.
• Understanding of Agile software development methodologies.
• Familiarity with web services (SOAP/REST), XML, and integration frameworks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skill.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Must Have:
