Job Summary:

We are looking for experienced Backend Developers (Senior/Junior levels) with strong expertise in Apache Kafka and Azure Cosmos DB. You will play a key role in designing and implementing scalable, real-time backend solutions for mission-critical applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend systems and data pipelines using Apache Kafka and Azure Cosmos DB.

• Implement real-time data streaming and event-driven architectures.

• Develop Kafka producers and consumers to handle high-volume, low-latency data.

• Optimize data models and queries within Cosmos DB for performance and scalability.

• Work with Kafka Connect for data integration across sources and sinks.

• Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and QA teams for end-to-end solution delivery.

• Leverage Azure cloud services like Function Apps, Event Hubs, etc.

Required Skills:

• 3–5+ years of backend development experience.

• Strong hands-on experience with Apache Kafka (producers, consumers, topics, partitions).

• Proficiency in working with Cosmos DB (NoSQL), including query tuning and data modeling.

• Familiarity with Kafka Connect for source/sink integrations.

• Solid knowledge of RESTful APIs, data structures, and backend frameworks (Node.js, Java, or Python).

• Experience working with Azure cloud services.Good-to-Have:

• Knowledge of microservices architecture.

• Experience with stream processing frameworks (e.g., Apache Flink, Kafka Streams).

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools.
