robotics, autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), automated guided vehicles (AGVs), collaborative robots (Cobots), manufacturing simulation, and digital factory solutions.
The candidate will be responsible for leading automation solution design, robotics deployment programs, simulation projects, and manufacturing optimization initiatives across global manufacturing environments. The role includes evaluating automation opportunities, developing technical solutions, conducting simulation studies, and supporting end-to-end implementation and commissioning activities.
Professionals should have hands-on experience with industrial robots, controls engineering, PLCs, HMIs, material handling systems, and manufacturing simulation tools such as FlexSim, Tecnomatix, and AnyLogic. Strong knowledge of discrete event simulation (DES), plant layout planning, logistics optimization, bottleneck analysis, line balancing, and operational performance improvement is highly preferred.
The role also involves collaborating with OEMs, customers, engineering teams, and global stakeholders, creating technical proposals, performing effort estimations, and mentoring simulation and automation teams. Candidates should possess strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to drive large-scale digital manufacturing programs.
