n transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in warehouse simulation, Digital Twin technologies, and Discrete Event Simulation (DES) to optimize warehouse operations, material flow, and distribution center performance.
The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and validating warehouse simulation models using Siemens Tecnomatix Plant Simulation, FlexSim, AnyLogic, or other Discrete Event Simulation tools. The role includes developing Digital Twin models, analyzing warehouse layouts, optimizing throughput and capacity, validating material handling systems, evaluating automation strategies, and conducting what-if scenario analysis to improve operational efficiency.
Professionals should have hands-on experience with warehouse simulation, distribution center modeling, material flow analysis, conveyor systems, AS/RS, sortation systems, storage policies, labor productivity optimization, forklift and operator movement simulation, dock door scheduling, trailer management, and warehouse process optimization. Strong knowledge of supply chain operations, logistics engineering, warehouse automation, and KPI-driven performance analysis is highly preferred.
The role also involves collaborating with warehouse operations teams, supply chain stakeholders, automation engineers, solution architects, and global project teams to deliver scalable simulation models, support warehouse modernization programs, and recommend process improvements. Candidates should possess strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, presentation, and problem-solving skills with experience in enterprise logistics and digital manufacturing environments.
